Hi and thank you for taking the time to read this!

My name is Pernilla Håkansdotter Olsson and I'm the interim pastor here at Trinity Lutheran Church. I'm 100% Swedish and came to Los Angeles in September of 2022. I got ordained on a snowy Sunday in January 1999. 

I have worked as a senior pastor for the past 15 years and you can call me a people person. I love the energy that is created when we come together. For me, the church must be the open space, the room that can accommodate everyone. The door must be wide and the threshold low. The church community is the place to feel safe and accepted whoever you are and whatever you carry in your luggage. 

I am married to Marcus Eliasson, and we have four young adults in our family: Ethan 19, Emma and Aidan 21 and Matilda 24 years old. We have one "kid" living at home, his name is Elvis and is a one-year-old goldendoodle. He is full of love and life!
